In America it is the norm to tip. It is expected because most know that servers and tipped employees need it. However, some go against the norm, and believe that they don't need to tip the minimum 20%, or simply do not tip at all.
What about you?
Do you leave your server with a large enough tip?  
Do you tip at all?
